‘Platonic Relationship’, no expectations with strong friendship bond, no possessiveness and ample fights, loads of love with no fear of separation. The term ‘platonic’ was initially used to mock non-sexual relationships, as it was considered ridiculous to separate love and sex. Eventually this connation faded away, leaving us with today’s notion of close friendships.

Having platonic friends creates a sense of community a support of network. It gives a sense of acceptance and understanding, which makes us feel valued and connected. Having platonic friends promotes feelings of empathy and understanding, which deepens our connections with others.

People tend to think of romantic love as the meaningful kind of love, but platonic love is also important. It’s a more pure form of love, free from the complications and complexities that comes with romantic love. It’s a deep connection built on mutual respect, trust, and care. It’s pretty amazing stuff!

Love can really save people and I’m not talking about romantic love, I’m talking about platonic, wholesome, unselfish love that demands nothing in return other than that person’s safety, happiness, and well-being. Love for the sake of love. I think this kind of love is wonderful.

I think I am irreversibly in love with you, but not in a romantic way, in a friend way. I want to be around you and tell you how much you mean to me and hug you so that nothing bad ever happens to you. Why? Because you are golden, I hope you know that. You are such a great person which makes me feel so lucky to call you my friend. You deserve the world!

There is so much love in friendship, people forget that . I think it’s because friendship is not as celebrated or romanticized as romantic love. There aren’t nearly as many songs, movies, or stories about platonic love as there are about romantic love. It’s not as visible in popular culture but that does not mean it’s not important. I’d argue that it’s just as important, if not more. Platonic love is a steady, stable and consistent form of love. It’s the kind of love that is willing to last a lifetime.

I would leave you with this. Always remember that friendship is a deep oneness that develops when two people, speak the truth in love to one another. You don’t need to constantly see your friends but you should know they are always there for you. Whenever you need me, my friend, I would be there. Why? Because I love you, my friend and I will always love you.
